James Anthony Toth, PA, RSPS
Like many post college careers, mine happened by chance. I was coaching the son of a Wall Street broker who recruited me to work for him as a financial planner. I spent 5 years learning the market, numerous financial products and investment strategies until September 11th. That day was a turning point in my career, trading in a suit for desert cammo. I spent 17 years in uniform, deploying to three countries and serving in four campaigns. Whether in uniform or hockey gear, I love being part of a team, which is how I also approach my clients.
Why real estate? As a financial planner I loved building wealth. However, it bothered me that the market was not for everyone, for obvious reasons. You can’t buy 100 shares of Disney with 10% down. Real estate is a chance for everyone to build wealth since leverage works to the buyer’s advantage.
Having a team first attitude, communication is crucial. You will be able to reach me any time to put your mind at ease. I’ve answered texts at 1am, plastered holes in walls before my photographer took pics to list a house and even spoke at length with worried parents of a client’s when they bought their first home.
Having a prior career in uniform, I am familiar with the stressors of PCSing, the ins and outs of VA loans, and can mitigate these issues to make this transition an exciting one.
I am relentless when it comes to researching the market. To you, this means you will have a realtor that can navigate an ever-changing buyer and seller’s market.
In most cases your new home is your biggest financial investment. I will ensure it’s also an investment in quality of life, one that fits you and your loved ones lifestyles and grows with you.
Testimonials
"James is a dedicated and experienced realtor and takes care of the entire home sale/purchase process making for a stress free experience. My house in S. Tampa was under contract within 4 hours on the listing day and thanks to James’s comparison market data, I sold for a $150K profit! James is also a US Navy combat veteran and does a great job working with the military community in the Tampa area."

"My husband and I were lucky enough to stumble across Jim online and knew immediately when we met him we wanted to work with him. Our process was not an easy one but he never gave up and always had patience to see this deal through!! I cannot say enough good about this guy and through it all he always let us know he was on our side and fighting for us!!!"
-Tabitha Denis, Client
"We worked with Jim starting in February 2020. This continued on during the start of the pandemic until late 2020. Jim was extremely easy to work with. My wife and I saw plenty of houses, made a few offers, and finally found our perfect new home. Jim not only provided knowledge and insight into houses and the market in general, but when things started to get "really strange" in the COVID-era market, he never faltered and continued to offer honest advice and opinion. This included his experience with financing to offer us help with mortgage considerations. We enjoyed working with Jim so much that I also want back to him to sell another property after we purchased a home working with him. Through both sales, we got to know him so well that I consider him not only my real estate agent, but also a good friend. Jim is a VERY honest, hard-working and knowledgeable agent who will work with you to find the right home, or to sell your home--believe me, I've done both with him!"

"With Jim Toth's help we bought a condo and sold our old one all in 4 weeks and got excellent prices at both ends. Jim is hard-working, knowledgeable, friendly and above all, is a man of impeccable integrity. He "went the extra mile" for us on numerous occasions. Our business relationship with Jim has run its course and now we count him as a friend."

Why real estate? As a financial planner I loved building wealth. However, it bothered me that the market was not for everyone, for obvious reasons. You can’t buy 100 shares of Disney with 3.5% down. Real estate is a chance for everyone to build wealth since leverage works to the buyer’s advantage. Yes, in real estate 3.5% down still gets you a $400k house.
Having a team first attitude, I value communication above all. You will be able to reach me any time to put your mind at ease.
